All Saints and All Souls – A Time to Remember and Give Thanks

This weekend, we celebrate two special feast days in our Church calendar — All Saints Day (November 1) and All Souls Day (November 2).

On All Saints Day, we give thanks for all the saints — those known and unknown — who have lived lives of holiness, love, and service. The saints remind us that we are all called to be people of kindness, compassion, and faith in our daily lives. They inspire us to use our gifts to make the world a better place and to bring God’s love to others.

On All Souls Day, we take time to remember and pray for all those who have died — our loved ones, family members, and friends who are now in God’s loving care. It is a beautiful opportunity to pause, reflect, and give thanks for the people who have touched our lives and shaped our hearts.

As a school community, we hold all these special people in our prayers this week.

May we be inspired by the saints’ example of faith and goodness, and may we find comfort and hope in the promise of eternal life.

Eternal rest grant unto them,

O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.

May they rest in peace.

Amen

Keep In your Prayers and Thoughts...
