Year 5 Excursion to Scienceworks

Year 5 Excursion

On Friday last week the Year 5s went on an excursion to Scienceworks and the MCG! 

We had to wake very VERY early since the bus goes at 7am.  As I arrived at the hall where we were waiting at, Cyd amazed everyone by showing off his Rubik's cube I wasn't paying attention since my friend Arya and I were playing with fidgets we brought for the bus, while some took pictures with their parents or just chatted with their friends. 

Soon we took the roll call, everyone said goodbye to their parents, then the bus took off.  I immediately fell asleep because I suck at staying up early.  Later we took our first and only toilet stop of the trip.  Some people needed to go while the others stayed back so we ate some lollies/snacks, yum. Adriyanna my friend had like a container of lollies/snacks.  

One hour later the awesome and amazing bus driver put on a movie for us, everyone kept begging for one so... Anyway, the movie we watched was called Jumanji. I was asleep for most of it so unfortunately, I didn’t see a lot of the movie sadly. 

One more hour later I think, we arrived at Scienceworks! But before we went inside, we had to eat our lunch so we wouldn’t have to eat while inside, but eating inside was an option.  We also took a photo of everyone pointing at Scienceworks.  After we took a photo, we went inside.  Some people who work there gave some rules and guides before we finally went inside. 

There was alot of cool stuff that I've visited before too, we only had 30 minutes, so me and my friend group did alot of cool stuff there like the sports area and a door that make you disappear to the person who’s outside.  

Thirty minutes passed and everyone headed to the planetarium to learn about where water is in the universe other then earth. It was super cool, but i nearly fell asleep. There was other school there, but it was pretty cool in my opinion.
