Two Minute Parking Zones - Bayside Council Responsibility
Dear Parents and Carers,
A reminder that the drop-off zones on Wilson Street and Male Street are strictly for quick drop-offs and pick-ups only. These are two-minute zones, and vehicles must not be left unattended at any time.
We understand that some families prefer to walk their child into school; however, if you choose to do so, please allow extra time to park legally in the surrounding streets, being mindful not to block driveways or ignore local parking restrictions. Please note that Bayside Council actively enforces the two-minute limit and may issue fines to vehicles that remain parked beyond this timeframe.
Double parking in these zones is strictly prohibited. It creates significant safety risks for students and other pedestrians.
If you wish to report vehicles parked beyond the time limit, please contact Bayside Council directly, as parking enforcement outside the school grounds is not the school’s responsibility.
Finally, I respectfully ask that all members of our community treat our teachers and office staff with courtesy. They are not responsible for managing parking matters and should not be subject to anger or frustration.
Thank you for your cooperation and support in keeping our students safe.
Warm regards,
Steve Meade
Principal
