BOOK OF THE MONTH! JUNE

LOST IN THE TOY MUSEUM

by David Lucas

Let me take you on a magical journey through the museum. Look at the colour and attention to detail illustrations. The setting comes alive with a playful adventure. Once the lights are out and the doors are locked of the museum, the toys bounce off the shelves and the fun begins. You will want to play the game too! Come to the BPS Library and read, 'Lost In The Museum' by David Lucas.

NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS STORYTIME!

It was another successful event reading, 'The Truck Cat' by Deborah Frenkel and illustrated by Danny Snell. It is a book about identity and home. The staff and students were relaxed (and not to mention excited) all day because teaching and learning was very comfortable in our pyjamas. Online we met the author and illustrator and completed a fun activity together too. We read simultaneously along with 2 million others, including, schools, universities, libraries and other work places around Australia. A huge thank you to everyone in our school community for your amazing support once again! A great read! A great school day at BPS!
