Student Report

Hello Tarneit Senior College,
As we wrap up Term 2, it’s been a busy and productive few weeks for our student community!
This term, many students have been working hard, showing their dedication and commitment to completing their SACs, CATs and Semester 2 exams. The dedication and effort you have displayed are truly commendable, and we both encourage everyone to take some well-deserved rest over the two-week holiday.
On June 26th, our Careers and Pathways team hosted an exciting Careers Expo, where it gave students the chance and opportunity to explore a wide range of career paths and connect with industry professionals. It was great to see all of you engaging with universities, Police Force, ADF, TAFE and many more, and gather valuable information to help plan your futures once you complete schooling.
On the 30th of June, the Senior Girls' and Boys' Basketball team played some great matches. Both teams showed great skill and sportsmanship on the court. Congratulations to all players for their hard work and team spirit!
Looking ahead, our Year 12 students have begun preparing for their Oral Presentations scheduled for July 23rd, and will continue to practice over the school holidays. This is an important part of their assessment, and we wish them all the best as they showcase their knowledge and communication skills.
With Term 3 just around the corner, keep an eye out for upcoming events that the Student Council has been planning, as well as opportunities. That could be joining clubs, participating in sports, or even volunteering for any other activities that will be occurring in the upcoming weeks. We thank you all for your hard work this term.
Have a safe and relaxing holiday, and we look forward to seeing you refreshed and ready for Term 3!
Warm regards,
-Erasti & Nyapath
