Shrove Tuesday/ Pancake Day

This Shrove Tuesday, we celebrated Pancake Day by enjoying a tasty breakfast of pancakes and discussing the meaning behind the tradition. Students learned about Shrove Tuesday's history as a day to use up rich ingredients before Lent. The fun continued in Cooking Club, where students got creative with their pancakes, adding ingredients like banana, chocolate chips, and more to make their own unique creations. Will. S even tells us he was having pancakes for dinner too!!

Thank You!

A big thank you to the Sadler, Wilson, and Moore families for their generous donations to OSHC! Your thoughtful contributions of games, puzzles, dolls, balls and figurines are already bringing so much joy to our students. We truly appreciate your kindness and support in helping us create a fun and engaging environment for everyone. Thank you!

Frequently Asked Question

What happens if my child forgets to come to after school care?

We have policies and procedures we put in place in the event your child hasn’t arrived to OSHC as booked, this includes paging the child over the intercom, contacting the child’s teacher and the school office and then contacting families and emergency contacts, as a last resort police and emergency service may be called. It is for this reason that we ask that you notify us of any absences as soon as possible.

Payments

A friendly reminder to all parents: please ensure that payment for care services is made within one week of receiving your statement. Timely payments are essential to avoid any disruptions or cancellations to your child’s place in care. If you have any questions or concerns about your payment, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Thank you for your cooperation!

Feedback

As always, families are welcome to give us feedback about any aspect of the program. We welcome your input! Please feel free to come in and have a chat with Kelly or Amanda or  email oshc@beaumarisnorthps.vic.edu.au
