Teacher Interview - Anna Holmes

How long have you worked at BNPS?

Believe it or not but this is by tenth year working at BNPS. Previously I have worked as an emergency teacher but this year I am teaching in the lovely 6A class.

What is your favourite thing to do on weekends?

I love watching my 3 children play sport, which is lucky because they all play a lot of sports. If I have some spare time I enjoy long walks along the beach with family, friends or my dog, Bowie.

What is your favourite TV Show?

Whatever is new on Netflix- documentaries on movie stars or singers, romantic comedies, or series like Bridgerton.

If you could go on a holiday anywhere in the World, where would you go?

Well, I’m about to go to Japan during the next holidays and I can’t wait! I must ask Koji for some tips.

What might someone be surprised to know about you?

I grew up on a farm and I went to school on Phillip Island.

What recently made you smile?

My family has recently tried playing Pickleball. We are not very good yet, so it is very humorous to watch.

What would you like to say to the students at BNPS?

Never miss an opportunity to be kind or helpful. It feels good and can make a big difference to someone else’s day.
