Australia has been unbeaten so far through pool play and is about to head into the quarterfinals against Wales – winner to the play the USA in the semi. Good Luck Mim!

Congratulations Joanna Parr – 2024 National Indigenous Tennis Carnival champion!

Last week Year 10 student Joanna Parr headed north to compete for Victoria in the National Indigenous Tennis Carnival which was held in Darwin.

The National Indigenous Tennis Carnival celebrated its fifth year this year and is held on Larrakia Country in the NT. The event is more than tennis, it brings together Indigenous kids from urban to remote areas of Australia, and provides an opportunity to connect with each other, connect with culture, and take part in activities delivered by local artists.

All states competed with Victoria coming home with the Ash Barty Cup!

Amazing effort Joanna – not only for your tennis skills but also for your work on the mic interviewing Ash herself! Congratulations!
