Badminton Success at John Fawkner College!

Every Thursday lunchtime, the gym at John Fawkner College is filled with focus and energy as our Badminton Team hits the court for training. What started as a lunchtime event has now grown into a weekly team training session. 

Both the boys’ and girls’ teams have had an outstanding run this year, earning placements in their interschool competitions. A huge congratulations to our Senior Boys Team, who not onlysecured 1st place at the interschool level but also recently competed in Regionals for the first time ever.

The boys showed exceptional skill, discipline, and teamwork at Regionals representing JFC with pride. Although it was their first experience at this level, they stepped up with courage and determination and returned more motivated and inspired. They are already set on future tournaments, with clear goals and a renewed energy to train harder.

We are so proud of how far all our badminton players have come this year. The team spirit, discipline, resilience, and commitment they continue to display are a testament to this thriving culture of excellence here at John Fawkner
