 Science Gallery Excursion: Understanding Artificial Intelligence

A recent excursion to the Science Gallery provided students with an opportunity to explore the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern society. As part of the visit, participants engaged in a hands-on workshop focused on the capabilities and limitations of AI in generating text, images, and other forms of media.

A key component of the workshop involved developing strategies for identifying AI-generated information. Through the analysis of language patterns, image inconsistencies, and logical coherence, students gained insight into how to critically assess the authenticity of digital content.

The program encouraged reflection on the ethical implications of AI, the risks of misinformation, and the importance of critical thinking in an increasingly digital world. The experience contributed meaningfully to students’ understanding of emerging technologies and their impact on society.
