Our Place Northern Bay - August Update

Our Place Northern Bay is here to support children and families in the Corio community by helping connect you with local services, programs, and opportunities . We work in partnership with Northern Bay College and the City of Greater Geelong early years services.

Our team is based at the Korayn Birralee Family Centre, right at the front of the Wexford Campus. At the  family centre , there is a variety of free and inclusive programs to support children and families.

There is some great activities planned for families and children in Term 3!

Global Sisters – Business Workshop for Women 

Interested in starting your own small business? Join us for a free information session where where you can workshop some ideas with Narelle from Global Sisters. Global Sisters helps women to start and grow a business with free ongoing support , connections with like-minded women.

When: Tuesday 2nd September

Where: Korayn Birralee Family Centre

Time: 9.00am– 10.30am 

Leisure Networks After School Sports & Active Recreation Expo – 

Is your child eager to join local sports and activities ? Come along to the Sport & Active Recreation Expo to meet friendly local sports clubs and come and try different sports.

This is a FREE event, children must be accompanied by an adult

When: Thursday 4th September

Where: Wexford Campus Oval

Time: 3.30pm – 5.00pm 

Kinship Care Victoria visit to Carer’s Connect 

Carer’s Connect a peer support group for kinship and out-of-home carers, supported by the school wellbeing team have invited a representative from Kinship Care Victoria to attend the group. Come along and hear about Kinship support and advocacy and answer any questions you may have.
