Winners for the Lorraine Francis and Simon Crean Award

A massive congratulations to the winners of the Lorraine Francis Award and the Simon Crean Award, Finn R and Dallas B, delivered and presented by Nick Staikos MP, our representative for Bentleigh.

The Simon Crean Award is presented to a student who has demonstrated a strong link between creativity and innovation, including problem solving, and is engaged across STEAM disciplines. The Lorraine Francis Award is given to a student who has demonstrated leadership in their community and actively participates in student groups that improve the lives of others.

We would also like to thank the Hon. Nick Staikos and the representatives from the VSBA for attending our opening of the new Learning Centre.

Well done Finn and Dallas!

Year 12 Valedictory

The Year 12 Valedictory Dinner will take place on Wednesday 25th November 2026. The Valedictory Dinner is not an academic awards ceremony, but an opportunity for Year 12 students, their teachers and their families to come together to celebrate our graduating class of 2026.

Hosted by Cathies Lane Receptions, we will celebrate and farewell our Year 12 graduates with musical performances, all-student recognition and an exceptional dining experience to remember.

Year 12 students and families please check the Year 12 Google Classroom or Compass newsfeed for ticket links and information. You are welcome to contact Ms Hargreaves if you require assistance or to use any remaining School Saver Bonus or Camp Sports Excursion Funds.

Year 12 Activities

PCR Handover assembly
Tuesday 13th October: Picnic lunch and inflatables on the front oval (12.40pm – 1.30pm).
Thursday 15th October (Final Celebration Day):
- Period 2: Parents arrive
- Recess: Teacher awards & presentations
- Period 3: Morning Tea with parents and Year 12 students
- Period 4: Guard of Honour
Friday 16th October: SWOT VAC begins. Students may come on site in full school uniform to consult with teachers, signing in and out at the front office.
