Year 9 City School | Meet the Team!

Year 9 City School

From the 9th to the 11th of September, our Year 9 students went on their annual City School excusion to Melbourne's CBD. Students went to a variety of locations each day, including Marvel Stadium, Queen Victoria Market, Botanic Gardens, the Old Melbourne Gaol, ACMI and The Big Issue.

They learned so much from this incredible experience, from all the different types of flora that grows in the Botanic gardens, to hearing the first-hand experiences of unhoused and disadvantaged people who are working to break down stereotypes surrounding hardship in our communities. Each location was tailored to broadening our students' horizons and adding to their knowledge of Melbourne and its institutions.
