Year 7 Sport

Well done to an enthusiastic group of Year 7 students who participated in Beachside Sport on August 31st. Girls and Boys Basketball, Girls and Boys Table Tennis and two energetic Boys Futsal teams, all represented Chelt.Sec with pride and great sportsmanship. Thank you to our staff for taking the time from your classes, Mr Donahue, Miss Chan, Mr Motteram and Mr McCahon. We appreciate the support and coaching from our Middle School members Shanaya G, Samuel K, and Saxon N; we love to provide opportunities for different year levels to interact, giving our older students a chance to work on their leadership skills.

Track and Field

On Thursday 3rd September Mr Mazurek took a group of students to the Beachside Track and Field event. First place results from our house carnival earned students the invitation. All of our 23 participants gave it their best and should be very proud of themselves, there were a lot of second and third ribbons amongst the group. These are the first place getters who go through to the Southern Metro Region taking place on Tuesday 6th October at Casey Fields.
