Footy Colours Day on Monday 7th September was a joyful afternoon enjoyed by the whole school. During period 4, students in Years 7-10 enjoyed skill activities and competitions while listening to their favourite footy tunes. At lunchtime, the Class of 2026 had the honour of running through a banner and taking on the Staff of 2026 in a footy match.
There were spectacular marks, quick hands, and precise skills by foot, with the staff emerging as the winners. Recruits Nic and Ashly from Merri-Bek Youth, and code-swapper, Melbourne Victory Coach, Luke Hannah, were a welcome addition to the occasion.
