SCOE: EMERGENCE(Y)

On 19 August, Year 10 Science students attended the SCOE exhibition on EMERGENCE[Y]. Students explored the gallery’s interactive exhibits, including trying on clothes made from mushrooms.

As part of the experience, students took part in a module where they debated key issues, discussed different perspectives and voted on important decisions to help prevent societal collapse. Students needed to carefully balance the needs of different stakeholders while considering the consequences of their choices.

According to the staff running the module, JFC students achieved one of the best results in the workshop by successfully balancing the needs of key stakeholders and creating a well-balanced society through thoughtful decision-making and collaboration.
