St Augustine's Care Group Thank You

St Augustine’s Care Group was established around 1980. Marie Dillion was the first person in charge, and the role was later passed on to Mary Elliot. Over the years, the Care Group provided wonderful support to our parish community. Its members prepared and delivered food to those who were sick, catered for funerals, hosted cuppa’s after mass and visited parishioners who were sick or homebound. In recent years, the group has sadly come to an end.

We would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank all those who were involved in the Care Group for the many years of caring, service, and generosity they gave to our parish. We would also like to acknowledge the $306 donation of remaining funds that has been left to the parish. We are truly grateful for the legacy of kindness and care that St Augustine’s Care Group has given to our parish community over so many years.
