From the Principal

Dear St Augustine’s Community,
Welcome back to Term 4! I hope everyone enjoyed a well-earned break and is ready for the final term of the school year. There is plenty happening over the coming weeks, with lots of opportunities for our students to learn, participate and celebrate their achievements.
This week we acknowledge the final days of classes for our Year 12 students. This is a significant milestone, and after 13 years we congratulate them on reaching this point in their schooling. We wish them all the best as they prepare for their VCE examinations and look forward to celebrating their achievements at Graduation on Thursday 19th November.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Grandparents and Special Friends Mass and activities this week. It was lovely to welcome so many special people into our College and recognise the important role they play in the lives of our students.
Our Years 5 and 6 students are looking forward to their Canberra camp next week, while our Years 3 and 4 students will head to Billabong Ranch later this month. These experiences are always a highlight, providing opportunities to build friendships, develop independence and create lasting memories. We also have plenty of sporting activities and events to look forward to across all three communities.
As the term progresses, we will celebrate student achievements, welcome our incoming Foundation and Year 7 students through transition programs and prepare for the next academic year. Our end-of-year celebrations, including Year 6 Graduation, the College Awards Ceremony and Christmas events, will provide wonderful opportunities to come together as a community.
While Term 4 is busy, it is important that students remain focused on their learning and make the most of the opportunities ahead. Thank you to our staff for their continued commitment and to our families for the support and partnership you provide throughout the year.
I look forward to a positive and rewarding final term together.
Kind regards,
Tim Campbell
Principal
