Hooptime Basketball Competition

On Monday the 7th September, the Year 6 Basketball teams attended the Hooptime Basketball Competition at Keilor Stadium. The competitive competition is run by Basketball Victoria, who invites teams from around the north west metro area of Melbourne to compete in a round robin competition.

Both the boys and girls teams competed in the All Stars Division and played 5 pool games and qualified for the Grand Final. Both teams, unfortunately lost their grand finals (the boys lost in overtime) but everyone displayed outstanding sportspersonship, resilience and teamwork throughout the entire competition. It was awesome to see our Greenvale Primary students represent their school with pride and showcase their basketball talent! We are very proud of both teams!
