Purple PLC Update

Throughout Term 3, students in Purple PLC have been enjoying Wombat Stew as their mentor text, exploring the characters, animals and themes within the story. To celebrate their learning, students visited Werribee Open Range Zoo for an exciting day of animal adventures. Students participated in a Ranger session, where they had the opportunity to ride on the truck, pump water, grind meal, explore a range of sensory items and use binoculars to investigate their surroundings. They also enjoyed exploring the Australia Trail, visiting Dinos at the Zoo and seeing the lions. It was a fantastic day of hands-on learning and fun, providing students with opportunities to connect their classroom learning to real-world experiences.
