Little Joey's

Last week we celebrated Book Week by visiting our school library and looking for books to look at and listen to as the Grade 5 students read them. We then listened to the text How to Move a Zoo by Kate Simpson. The Little Joey's then worked with the older students to create their own vehicle for moving animals like in the story.  

The junior students have their athletics day Monday so this week we had our own athletics afternoon. The Little Joey's got to have a go at hurdles, bean bag throw, discus, running and long jump. To finish we did some relay races where the younger students paired up with a grade 5 student.
