As part of our acknowledgement of students who are representing our College Values, we will be presenting Student of the Month awards to students we believe have best represented the values during each month.


Johnleo is always on time, always equipped, always ready to learn and always eager to get started. He takes great pride in his work and always tries to the best of his ability and asks for help to improve. He never refuses a challenge and always attempts extension work, as well as being unfailingly polite and respectful to staff and his fellow students.


Jazmin has been aspiring to be actively engaged in all forms of education in Health and Physical Education. Jazmin has consistently been applying herself to the classroom, and asking questions whenever she has one to grow as a learner. Jazmin has been supporting her peers to understand and learn.


Adam Khairo is a positive member of the class who actively participates in class activities and asks thoughtful questions. He regularly seeks feedback in class to improve he works and sets high expectations for himself. He is also willing to help other students once he has finished his own work. Adam has shown aspiration towards his learning by consistently putting in 110% effort, no matter the task. He is an active member of our class who is always willing to put his hand up and positively contributes to the class discussions.
Summer always comes to MacqLit with a smile and happy demeanour. Summer has excelled in MacqLit this year, her reading, decoding and writing has improved enormously. Summer will always have a go at an unknown word and she is an extremely valued member of her MacqLit group, constantly offering to assist when she can. It is an absolute pleasure seeing Summer grow into a confident and studious student. Well Done!


Mehtab has settled well in to school. His engagement in humanities is commendable. He actively participates in discussions, contributes ideas respectfully and takes on feedback in a positive manner.


Armaan has been applying himself in the classroom, and aspiring to learn and understand all of the content. Armaan has had a high expectation of himself to learn all of the content, and ask questions when he is unsure to build as a student. Armaan's positive attitude and vibrant energy are an important aspect of the 7F classroom. Well done Armaan.


Audric is a persistent student with courage and ambition. He listens to his teacher, shows great respect, and always does his absolute best on his work.


Angel consistently demonstrates our college values of Aspiration and Achievement in English. She always strives to complete her work to a high standard and takes pride in her learning. Her dedication and effort are a fantastic example to others in the class. Great work!


Zabibu consistently shows respect and aspiration when attending MacqLit classes. Zabibu's manner, approach to learning and high level of the written language is astounding. She is quiet and focussed, however will always have an attempt at the unknown meanings of words. Zabibu participates in all areas of MacqLit and is a valued student in the group.


Rahima has gone above and beyond in both health and physical education. She constantly shows a great willingness to learn and always tries her best in everything she does. Rahima continues to support other student's learning and share ideas in class discussions. Great job Champion!


Angel consistently demonstrates a positive attitude towards learning. She actively participates in class discussions and confidently shares her ideas and insights. She has developed strong, positive relationships with her classmates and always treats others with kindness and respect. Angel is a considerate and supportive member of the class who is always willing to help her peers when needed. She approaches her learning with dedication putting in extra effort to complete tasks to a high standard. Angel’s positive attitude and caring nature make her a deserving recipient of the Student of the Month award.


I am proud to nominate Leonardo as 7M Student of the Month for July. He has shown outstanding effort in both academic and co-curricular areas, achieving first place in school and divisional cross-country. He is proactive, collaborative, and willingly supports teachers and peers, consistently modelling positive school values.
Armin has been extremely mature during our sexual health and respectful relationships unit. Armin has been asking relevant questions and has been supporting his peers to show more maturity throughout lessons as well and being a fantastic role model. Great work Armin!


Fantastic effort and continuous engagement this year in English Faith! Your consistent effort in our class discussions is well appreciated by me and your peers. It is apparent that your dedication to learning is reinforced with your level of engagement in our lessons. Keep up the amazing work Faith!


Mahnoor is a consistent performer in classes. She seems very quiet but her knowledge has been very solid. She is respectful towards her peers and teachers.


Inayat has improved over semester 1 to diligently do her work,stay focused in class and contribute to class discussions.


Anayah consistently works hard and contributes to class discussions. She always tries her best, and is a positive role model for her classmates.


Lucy consistently completes all her tasks in class, contributes to class discussion and supports those around her. Lucy strves for success and can have fun while doing so.


Rafey has shown a high level of engagement during our Pickleball Unit. He was able to work hard and develop his skills over the 4 weeks, which lead to him winning the class tournament. Keep up the hard work!


Patro always demonstrates a steady effort, approaches tasks with a strong work ethic, and consistently tries their best every day.


Menara's effort in Maths has been above the expected level since the start of Term 2, she has maintained positivity in class, she was often seen helping her peers in class when difficulties arise. She is respectful towards her peers and teachers.


Nikshith is well organised to class with all his work completed, worksheets filed. Contributes to class discussions and a respectful memeber of the classroom.


Aaryan has shown great leadership skills during the first part of our SEPEP Netball Unit. He was able to run his team through a successful warm up and lead them to a first place position on the ladder. Within the classroom he is able to work collaboratively with his team to ensure planning for the next game is through and complete.
During our SEPEP Netball Unit, Sienna has proven to be a highly valuable player for her team. Not only is she the leading goal scorer on the court, but she also shows strong collaboration skills off the court. She has been able to complete her role to a high standard and support her team as best she can. Keep up the good work!
Saad is a well-behaved and hardworking student. He always completes his assigned work on time and tries his best. He is polite and respectful to his teachers and classmates. Saad takes part in class activities with interest and enjoys learning. His positive attitude and good behaviour make him a valued member of the class.


Mahina has been an active member of her netball team in SEPEP. She has been a fantastic coach and has created relevant warm up activities to support her teams development. I am looking forward to seeing her leadership skills further develop throughout the SEPEP unit with new roles in upcoming weeks.


Liam has been applying himself throughout the whole unit to support his peers in learning and developing. Liam has been the first to teach his peers about new ideas and help them through difficult situations both in the classroom and in physical activity. Liam continues to ensure all of his peers are enjoying themselves, and having an equal opportunity to learn.


Abdul has started the semester strong, with clear interest and a goal of success. He always manages to give answers that show a deeper understanding, and uses this to take class discussions to the next level. He is always reliable and always goes beyond the basic work into the extension material, and takes pride in doing it well.
Karim has shown improvement in his engagement during Maths lessons. He has started attempting tasks more often and has demonstrated great effort and progress in his Maths work. Keep up the excellent work.
Cassidy has entered term 3 with a respectful and thought attitude towards her classsmates. In class, she has been applying herself well to the content and is consistently showing respect towards other through active listening and engagement. Cassidy has also been encouraging others to show respect within the classroom by encouraging others to also listen and apply themselves during learning. Well done.


Tanveet has demonstrated consistent engagement and participation in class, including active note-taking, completing in-class tasks, and helping peers learn better. She has also challenged herself by raising her hand more, which was quite challenging for her in previous terms. Tanveet also has high academic expectations for herself and has been constantly pushing herself to think deeper and achieve better.
