As a community based club, we’re passionate about giving young people the opportunity to participate in sport regardless of their experience level, and we’d love to reach families within your school community.

Year 9-12 Students Consideringa Career in Medicine
The Future Doctors Australia Program offers students aged 14–18 a unique opportunity to explore whether medicine could be the right career path for them.
During the four-day program, students take part in a range of hands-on clinical activities and spend time with doctors who share firsthand insights into medical careers and daily life in the profession. Students also participate in communication skills workshops, explore what a future in healthcare may involve, and learn about pathways and admission processes for studying medicine in Australia, including an introduction to the UCAT and medical interviews. The Lester Prize is delighted to announce that entries are open for the 2027 Youth Awards! The exhibition will once again be hosted at the WA Museum Boola Bardip, and include an exciting series of events and programs.
Entries are open!
Call for Entries are open until 3 March 2027. Entries are open to Australian high school students in years 7-12. The Lester Prize Youth Awards encourages the creative talents of young aspiring artists.
The Prize allows entrants to showcase their works and present their unique artistic perspectives; helps to build confidence to further their art practice; and allows them to share their stories with the wider community.
Further information about the 2027 Youth exhibition and community engagement program will be announced in early 2027. In the meantime, view previous winners and finalists, and enter today.

Individual Parenting Support Services
The Children and Parenting Support Service (CaPSS) is an early intervention and prevention program that supports parents and carers by strengthening parenting skills, fostering connections with other families, and enhancing positive parent–child relationships.
I would like to share that, in addition to the ongoing parenting programs and workshops we regularly deliver, we offer our Individual Parenting Support (IPS) program. Our Individual Parenting Support (IPS) program provides tailored one-to-one support over approximately 6–8 sessions, helping parents work towards their individual parenting goals and build confidence in their parenting. We support families living in Melbourne's western suburbs, including the LGAs of Melton, Wyndham, and parts of Hobsons Bay (Laverton).
