Grade F/1

The F/1 children have had a very busy couple of weeks, with lots of twists and turns! Everyone has let me know how wonderfully they adjusted, thank you all for your patience and support.

Over the last week, we have been busily learning all about location and direction in Numeracy. We have been learning to use rulers to create grids, and to match our grids with coordinates. Using coordinates, we have been giving instructions to each other about how to navigate our islands, and find buried treasure!

In Literacy, our persuasive writing is coming along in poster form! We have been exploring how we can use pictures, and short, persuasive sentences to convince people across a range of topics.

Have a restful weekend, ready for a big (short) week in Week 6!
