Mrs Helen Varthalis Wellbeing Leader
The Ignatian Award
Each week at our Monday morning gathering, a student is awarded The Ignatian Award
by Mr Rodrigues for demonstrating one or all of our school values:
Community Excellence and Respect

This term saw Ignatius accumulate the most points for following our school expectations adn living out our school values of Community, Excellence and Respect. Following Trinity tradition, they had an extra 20 minutes of play.








Thank you to our Semester 1 SRC Leaders for their dedication, responsibility, and commitment to representing the voices of their peers. Throughout the semester, they have confidently led class meetings, shared valuable ideas, and contributed to initiatives that have helped improve our school community. Their leadership, enthusiasm, and willingness to make a positive difference have been greatly appreciated by both students and staff.

Our Mini Vinnies and Social Justice Leaders met last week and revisited the St Vincent de Paul Society (SVDP) Mission and the values of:
Commitment Loyalty in service to our mission, vision and values.
Compassion Welcoming and serving all with understanding and without
judgement.
Respect Service to all regardless of creed, ethnic or social background,
health, gender or political opinions.
Integrity Promoting, maintaining and adhering to our mission, vision and
values.
Courage Encouraging spiritual growth, welcoming innovation and giving
hope for the future.
Respect Service to all regardless of creed, ethnic or social background,
health, gender or political opinions.
Empathy Establishing relationships based on respect, trust, friendship and
perception.
We discussed possible fundraising opportunities and how the money raised could best be used to support our local community. Our students also created their own Mission Statement:


Class awards are presented to students who have demonstrated great effort and achievement in their learning, collaboration and initiative as well as resilience, and kindness in their classroom.
