COMMUNITY EXCELLENCE RESPECT
As we come to the end of another wonderful term, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of our families for your ongoing support, encouragement and partnership. Your involvement in your child's learning and in the life of our school makes a meaningful difference each day.
As a Catholic school, we recognise that parents are the first and most important educators of our young people. We are deeply grateful for the trust you place in us as we work together to nurture each child's faith, learning and wellbeing.
Thank you for all that you do to support our school community. We wish you a safe, restful and enjoyable holiday break, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back next term.

Learning extends far beyond the walls of the classroom, and our recent excursions provided wonderful opportunities for students to connect their learning with the real world. I was lucky enough to go along on the Year 3/4 excursion to Werribee Zoo, where they enriched their understanding of animal habitats, conservation, and biodiversity through engaging, hands-on experiences.
Our Prep students thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Bundoora Farm, where they explored farm life, learned about caring for animals, and developed a deeper appreciation for the environment.
Excursions not only bring the curriculum to life but also inspire curiosity, collaboration, and a lifelong love of learning.

On the 9th June, our staff participated in a day of professional learning as part of our ongoing commitment to providing the very best learning environment for all of our students.
At Trinity, we are committed to creating safe, supportive and engaging learning environments where every child can thrive. As part of this commitment, our staff are implementing strategies from the Berry Street Education Model, an evidence-informed approach that helps students develop strong relationships, emotional regulation, resilience and readiness to learn. Recently, our staff participated in a Professional Learning Day with Berry Street Education Model Facilitator, Mr Phillip Henniker and generously hosted at Xavier College's Junior School. We are sincerely grateful to Xavier College for their hospitality and support.
The day provided valuable opportunities for our staff to strengthen their understanding of practical classroom strategies that foster positive relationships, student wellbeing and improved learning outcomes for all.

Analysis of our NAPLAN results indicates that our school continues to achieve strong student learning outcomes in Literacy and Numeracy. Across both Year 3 and Year 5, the majority of students achieved within the Strong and Exceeding proficiency levels, reflecting the positive impact of evidence-based teaching and learning practices. Year 3 results demonstrate strong foundational achievement, while Year 5 results show that these outcomes are largely sustained as students progress through the school.
Trinity maintains a strong commitment to data-informed practice, with teachers regularly analysing NAPLAN and school-based assessment data to monitor student progress, identify trends, and evaluate the impact of teaching. This evidence is used to inform responsive planning, targeted intervention and differentiated learning experiences that support improved learning growth for every student.
We look forward to sharing our students individual NAPLAN report early on Term Three.

Each year, all Australian schools participate in the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD). The NCCD gathers information about the educational adjustments schools make to support students with disability so they can access and participate in learning on the same basis as their peers.
The information collected helps schools, education authorities and governments better understand the needs of students and plan for the resources and support required to help every child succeed.
Attached is an NCCD Parent and Carer Fact Sheet, which provides further information about the collection process and what it means for students and families. If you have any questions, please contact the school to speak with our Learning Diversity Leader, Ms Phuong Nguyen.
