Science Around the School
Science has been buzzing across all year levels this term!
Our Year 5/6 students explored the fascinating world of microorganisms and the important role they play in our environment. To bring their learning to life, they created their own terrariums, applying their knowledge to build impressive miniature ecosystems. The results look fantastic, and students had a great time making them.
In Year 3/4, students used their understanding of the plant life cycle to create fun and creative comics. The finished pieces are so impressive that we're considering publishing and printing them for display around the school so everyone can enjoy their work.
Our Year 1/2 students conducted experiments to investigate what plants need to grow. They made some exciting discoveries along the way, and the 1/2 EA class even successfully grew a long bean stalk and moved it to the garden!
Meanwhile, our Prep students enjoyed learning all about animals and their habitats. They had lots of fun discovering where different animals live and what they need to survive. It was fascinating to learn and talk about living things.
