In The Classroom With Year 4
Year 4 – Creativity in the Classroom!
There has been plenty of creativity and imagination on display in Year 4 this term! Our budding authors have been busy bringing their own mythical worlds to life! Inspired by our exploration of myths and legends, students have created imaginative heroes, fearsome creatures and magical settings. From fire-breathing dragons to mysterious enchanted forests, their writing has been filled with wonderful descriptions and adventurous ideas. It has been fantastic to see students taking pride in their writing and developing their confidence as storytellers.
In Mathematics, students have enjoyed putting their learning into practice by designing and constructing their own analogue clocks. These hands-on creations have helped them develop their understanding of time while providing a fun and practical way to consolidate their learning.
Our creativity has also extended into Religious Education, where students explored the story of Jesus in the Temple. Through colourful comic strips, they retold this important Scripture story, demonstrating their understanding of Jesus' childhood and his growing awareness of his relationship with God.
We are incredibly proud of the creativity, effort and enthusiasm Year 4 students have demonstrated, and we look forward to seeing their learning continue to flourish throughout the remainder of Term 4!
