Term 1 Update
2024 is going to be another HUGE year for DSC Sport. So far this term we have seen record participation numbers in Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket and Tennis for our Senior, Intermediate and Year 8 sport teams. A special shout out to the Senior Boys B Volleyball team for securing the first pennant for the year, we hope there is many more to come throughout the year.
A massive thank you to all our amazing staff that have already been involved in the DSC Sports Program this year. Whether they have been umpiring, scoring, coaching or convening, the support they offer the program is the reason that we are able to harness the passion that students have for sport at DSC.

ELITE SPORT STUDENT NEWS
Congratulations to Mikael Evagorou-Alao (Year 11) for recently competing in the Viareggio Cup soccer tournament in Italy. Mikael was a vital member of the Melbourne City Under 18 side that represented Australia against other teams from Italy, Nigeria, Turkey and Hungary. Participating in this prestigious tournament is yet another addition to Mikael’s impressive sporting resumé and the cherry on top was when he scored a goal.
It is also important to note, that despite being involved in these elite soccer programs, Mikael always makes time to being involved in the soccer program at DSC too, leading the Intermediate Boys Soccer team to the State Finals in 2023.
We can’t wait to see what Mikael can achieve in the next few years.
