Student Led Conferences (SLCs)
On Tuesday 26th March students will not attend school. The SLCs will take place via MS Teams and parents can book their interviews via Compass. A Compass Newsfeed will be sent out with instructions on how to book and use MS Teams.
The purpose of these first conferences is to meet the classroom teachers and gain some insight into how they are tracking in their learning growth and learning behaviour at the beginning of 2024. We have made a very positive start for the most part, and these conferences are a great way for students to report back to their parents and teachers about what they have learned so far and what they are hoping to work on as they move forward. We looking forward to hearing from your students!
Progress Reports
Progress Reports will be made available to families before the end of the term. These reports focus on the learning behaviours of our students, to support parents / carers to know how their child is engaging in the classroom and how it may be positively or negatively impacting their learning growth. We encourage you to peruse these as a family and discuss the observations made by your child’s teachers. Please know that these reports and repeated low performance in them can limit a student’s subject selections and subsequent year level progression options. Most of our students have made an excellent start to the year and we look forward to sharing these reports with you!
