Holy Week

Over the past fortnight, each grade has led our school community in a thoughtful and reverent retelling of the key moments of Holy Week. From Kindergarten’s joyful celebration of Palm Sunday through to Year Five’s moving reflection on the Burial, our students guided us with maturity, care, and a deep sense of faith.

Year One invited us into the humility of the Washing of the Feet, Year Two shared the significance of the Last Supper, and Year Three led us through Jesus’ time in the Garden and His arrest. Year Four offered a solemn and reflective portrayal of the Crucifixion, followed by Year Five’s gentle depiction of the Burial.

We look forward to completing our Holy Week journey when Year Six returns in Week 1 of Term 2 to lead us in the joyful celebration of the Resurrection.

Each liturgy has been a meaningful reminder of the Holy Week story, and we are incredibly proud of the respect, preparation, and leadership shown by all students.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all parents and families who joined us each morning for our Holy Week liturgies. Your presence added a wonderful sense of community and reverence to these moments, and it meant so much to the students who had prepared so thoughtfully. We are grateful for your ongoing support and for the way you help nurture the faith life of our school.

Caritas

Our school community has shown incredible generosity throughout the 2026 Caritas Easter Appeal. Thanks to the combined efforts of students, families, and staff, we raised a total of $2,473.55 to support the vital work of Caritas Australia.

  • Easter Raffle: $1,467
  • Boxes, gold coin donations, and Lenten wristlets: $1,006.55

Every contribution, big or small, helps Caritas continue its mission of supporting vulnerable communities here and around the world. Thank you for giving with such open hearts and making a meaningful difference this Lent.

As we begin our school holiday break, we also look forward to the rich liturgical moments awaiting us in Term Two. Families are encouraged to check the Term Two calendar for important dates, celebrations, and school based liturgies that will help guide our community through the next part of the Church year.

Sacrament of Confirmation – Year 6

Next term, our Year 6 students prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation. This is a significant milestone in their faith journey, and we hold them in prayer as they ready themselves for this special moment.

Confirmation Ceremony: Date to be confirmed

We look forward to a term filled with faith, reflection, and meaningful celebrations for our whole school community.

As we head into the school holidays, we take a moment to pause and ask God’s blessing for all our students and their families. We invite you to join us in this short prayer for a safe and joy‑filled break.
