From the Assistant Principal

Dear Families,
DARE TO DREAM
Musical rehearsals are now in full swing and we are all very excited.
This is our first ever musical as a school community and we are looking forward to sharing it with you later in the year.
CLAIM THE DATES:
Performances will be on the follow dates at St Patrick's College Rice Hall on Monday 30th November, Tuesday 1st December and Wednesday 2nd December.
Times and more details to be confirmed at a later date, however ALL students will be involved.
YEAR 6 LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
A few weeks ago, our student leadership team went to the GRIP Leadership Conference at Rosehill Gardens. At the conference they participated in activities to assist them to learn more about what leaders do and how they can be great leaders in our school community.
Georgia, from 6N said the most important thing she learnt was the 4 main leadership skills: serving the needs of others, role modelling school values for all, making connections with lots of people and taking ownership of opportunities, as well as getting to meet lots of other student leaders from different schools across Sydney.
Students also got to hear about some of the initiatives student leaders take part in at other schools, so that they could bring their ideas back to St Patrick's to discuss at their weekly leadership team meetings with Mrs Winwood and Mr Heelis.
TOUR DE CURE VISIT
This week we were lucky enough for 60 Tour de Cure riders to come and visit our school. They spent some time explaining to the students about what Tour de Cure is and teaching the "Be Fit, Be Healthy, Be Happy" message. It’s not just about the bikes—it’s about coming together to help find a cure for cancer. 🎗️
