PI Day Celebrations
As part of our College’s Pi Day celebrations, a competition was held where students were tasked with estimating the circumference of a circle drawn in the quad, submitting their answers via a Google Form. The winners from this competition received gift cards from Kmart. Congratulations to Taysia Zuccato, Isabella Cromack, Adriana Rauluni and Eleanor Lovelock! All of these girls are from Mr Morris’ Year 10 class - great work!
Assessment 1 for Juniors
All Stage 4 and 5 students will complete their first Mathematics assessment in Week 3 of next term. Assessment notifications have been shared with all students via Google Classroom this week. Please note that these notifications include the date, period, and topics to be assessed.
To support revision, teachers have provided a range of helpful resources and activities. Students are encouraged to ask their teacher if they require any additional support.
If your child is absent on the day of the assessment, they will be required to complete it in the next available lesson.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss your child’s progress, please feel free to contact their Mathematics teacher.
On behalf of the mathematics team - Mr. Morris, Mrs. Panebianco, Mr. Seers, Mrs. Star, Mr. Kulkarni, Mrs Blanco, Mrs Dumbleton, Mr. Phillip, Mrs. Morrison, Mr. Symmes, and Mr. Forrest - we wish everyone a restful break and look forward to seeing everyone back in Term 2!
Happy Easter!
