Our Faith Journey
Welcome to our RE community — where faith is shared, lived, and celebrated together.
Matthew 6:1-6
Jesus teaches that almsgiving, prayer, and fasting should be done in secret.
How does praying quietly help you grow closer to God?
Can you think of a quiet act of kindness you could do this week?
Thank you to our Reconciliation candidates and their families for attending and participating in the Parent Information Session on 11th February and the Presentation Mass on Sunday, 15th February.
Please note that the second Parent Information Session will be held on Wednesday, 4th March at 6:30pm in the Parish Community Centre. Attendance is essential for candidates and parents in preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Friday, 27th March.

Thank you dear parents and carers for generously giving your time and energy to make the delicious pancakes that our students so thoroughly enjoyed. Your support, care and willingness to help created such a joyful experience for everyone.
During Lent, we reflect on prayer, fasting and almsgiving. As part of this season, our students will take part in a Lenten Shoebox Appeal with Mini Vinnies to support families in need within our local community.
Almsgiving invites us to share what we have with generosity and compassion. When we place items in a shoebox, we are not only giving food — we are offering hope and living our faith through action.
How you can help:
We invite each family to donate non-perishable food items such as pasta, rice, canned goods, soup, cereal, long-life milk, tea or coffee. Please ensure items are within expiry date and in good condition.
Students may bring their items to school where Mini Vinnies leaders will collect and prepare the shoeboxes for donation.
You may wish to reflect at home:
What does it mean to give from the heart?
How can our family practise almsgiving this Lent?
At St Peter’s, we believe faith is lived through action. The Shoebox Appeal is a simple yet powerful way we grow in compassion and hope together.
Thank you for your partnership in nurturing generous hearts. May this Lenten season bring renewal and blessings to your family.

We extend our warmest wishes to all families celebrating the Lunar New Year. May this new year bring renewed hope, good health, joy and prosperity to your homes, and may it be filled with new beginnings and cherished moments together.
Lunar New Year is filled with symbols of hope and good fortune. As Catholics, we are people of hope, trusting in God’s providence and looking forward with faith.
