Victorian Premiers Reading Challenge

Here at Yarra Road, a total of 3,104 books have been read and entered online.

Amongst the top favourite books are ‘The Babysitter’s Little Sister’ series and ‘The Bad Guys’.

Congratulations to Prep A and Prep B for completing the challenge. Each class has read 30 books and the teachers have put them online.

The following people have read and entered a lot of books online. They will each get a certificate at assembly on Monday.

Ruhani G (Year 2) has read 77 books
Elemeik M (Year 3) has read 39 books
Flynn M (Year 4) has read 22 books
Sophia S (Year 5) has read 21 books
Ashlee R (Year 6) has read 21 books

Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge

Each student has a unique username and password and may add all the books they have read this year online. If they do not have their details, please contact your child’s classroom teacher or hazel.vanloenen@education.vic.gov.au .

Students from Prep - Year 2 need to read, or share in class, 30 books, 20 of them being Challenge books. Years 3 - 6 need to read 15 books (10 of them being Challenge books)
