Miss Atherton - Physical Education ⚽️ 🥅 

F-2 have begun their Soccer unit with high energy and so much persistence! We've explored kicking a soccer ball with the inside of our feet, using both feet so we can build skills for any situation. We played a game of Rob the Nest - Soccer edition!

3-4 have also started a Soccer unit, with a mixture of developing our soccer skills and Game Sense knowledge! We've practised kicking with both feet over a short distance, and a little bit of offence and defense. Rob the Nest was another hit with 3-4. 

5-6 are learning their Soccer unit through a SEPEP (Sports Education in Physical Education Program) lense. We've got our term 2 teams sorted, and now working towards building the skills to complete a full season of Soccer with pre-season training, fixture, and an end of term tournament.

🎖️ DISTRICT CROSS COUNTRY 🎖️

We had beautiful weather for the District Cross Country on Thursday. Our team of 23 put in a fabulous effort, many of us bringing home a ribbon. Altogether, BPS came 2nd! 🥈

It is always so great to see everyone cheering and supporting each other and students from other schools. We were also lucky to have so many families come along to cheer us on. 

A huge thank you to Mrs Wahl and parents Melissa and Kirra for helping out with important jobs on the day.
