That is until the day he wakes to discover he has turned into a giant insect. Please come along and experience the Year 7–10 Drama students as they get on their scrabbly little insect legs and tell Franz Kafka’s chilling story of dislocation, mutation and isolation, and transform it into a delightful, comical, tragical, musical, physical theatre adventure for everyone who has woken up wondering: has the world changed, or is it just me?

Inside every adolescent brain, 86 billion neurons connect and collide to produce the most frustrating, chaotic and exhilarating changes that will ever happen to us. Brainstorm is a unique theatrical investigation into how teenagers’ brains work, and why they’re designed by evolution to be the way they are. The cast have explored theatre practitioner and director Anne Bogart’s viewpoints to craft the work. The real beauty of this show is that it’s not just about them.
