Thank you for your generosity last Friday as we raised funds for Ronald McDonald House through our Beanies and Hot Chocolate Day. A huge thank you to Mrs Chapman for her time and effort organising this, it was a wonderful community service event.
Next week, we’re looking forward to welcoming families to our Parent Assembly on Friday 27 June in the MPC from 2:20pm, with a special performance by Year 5. All Parents and Carers are warmly invited to attend, we always love having you with us to celebrate our students' achievements.
Thank you also to everyone who recently took part in the school satisfaction surveys. We’ve appreciated your honest reflections and helpful feedback. One theme that stood out was around the student uniform. Dr Jackson and I would love the opportunity to better understand what the issues are and to hear your thoughts. We’ll be holding a parent forum in the Library at 2:10pm this Thursday 19th June and would love to see you there. If you’re unable to attend but would still like to share your feedback, please feel free to email me directly at a.alcorn@wwcc.nsw.edu.au.
Over the past few days, I’ve had the chance to read through many of the report comments as our teachers finalise Semester 1 reports. It has been incredibly encouraging to read about the growth and learning that has taken place across the Primary School. Our teachers speak with such care, insight, and love about your children . I’m continually struck by how deeply they know each student and how thoughtfully they reflect on each one’s individual learning journey.
