VM GROUNDS WORK AT MESC
As part of our VM, Personal Development Skills (PDS) group work, William, Nolan, River, and Ochre have been helping out the MESC Grounds Worker Tim Dalziel with projects around the school. Over the past few weeks, we have mulched multiple areas around the school including above some retaining walls and the gardens out the front of office area. To stop mulch from spilling onto the seating areas out the front of the school we have installed sleepers behind the seats. Throughout the rest of the year, we plan to continue to tackle different areas of the school grounds with Tim.
We welcome any ideas/suggestions, so feel free to come have a chat to any of us.

MESC celebrated Mylo's FIRST birthday. He is loving his time with Students and Staff and is a very special member of the MESC community. Happy First Birthday Mylo.

MESC EASTER BISCUIT COOKING COMPETITION 2024
Cook and decorate Easter biscuits at home and send your photo in to be in the running to be named the winner of MESC’s Easter biscuit baking competition 2024.
Competition is open now and closes Monday 8th April.
When:- Now until the 8th April 2024
Where:- Baking and decorating takes place at your home.
How:- Using a basic vanilla biscuit recipe (see suggested recipes below) you are to prepare and decorate biscuits at home. Please note you can enter competition with a partner or on your own (could be parent, sibling ,friend). You are then to upload to the link below a minimum of 3 photos of yourself (and partner if working as a pair) baking, decorating and of finished product.
It would be helpful if a family member or friend was at home whist you prepared the biscuits to take photos of you preparing and decorating the biscuits. Please ask permission of a parent or guardian before the baking of the biscuits so they can assist with purchasing of ingredients and assist with oven safety if required. You will then be required to upload your name and photos to link below.
Why:- To have fun in the kitchen at home and be in the running to win a certificate and small prize and be named the competition winner for 2024 in the MESC newsletter.
