Ancient Civilisations

Last term, our students engaged deeply with both Aboriginal culture and ancient history. As part of their exploration of Indigenous Australian storytelling traditions, students researched a Dreamtime story of their choice and then created their own unique retelling, incorporating key elements of the original narrative. These creative versions were shared in class, allowing students to appreciate the richness and significance of Dreamtime stories in Aboriginal culture. 

In addition, students began delivering their oral presentations on their Ancient Egypt research projects, showcasing their knowledge and communication skills as they explored topics such as pharaohs, pyramids, and daily life in ancient times.
