Story Box Hub

Dear Families,

Courtesy of the Mitcham Primary School Library, all MPS families have unlimited access to StoryBox Hub, an online, educational resource, that is part of our aim to send a little bit of our school library home with you.

With StoryBox Hub, students can watch and listen to their favourite stories, read aloud by fabulous storytellers, sportspeople, musicians, comedians, and actors, from the

comfort of anywhere with an internet connection. StoryBox Hub provides us with continually expanding content to inspire Prep to Year 6 students (as well as any younger family members that may be at home) alongside related activities and classroom ideas for each story.

Reading aloud to children, in particular by diverse and engaging storytellers, greatly improves language and literacy skills, especially in the early years of a child’s development – not to mention, it’s enjoyable for all involved!

Alternatively, you can also access StoryBox Hub through the StoryBox Library app. You can download the StoryBox Library app onto your Apple or Android device through the Apple or Google Play Store. Once downloaded, enter the above login credentials.
