Year 11 Emmaus Retreat

On Thursday and Friday of Week 1, the Year 11s took part in their Emmaus Retreat. They were split into two groups and across the two days they participated in unique opportunities for reflection and growth.

Group One attended St Joseph’s in Subiaco before beginning their Camino Salvado pilgrimage journey to St Mary’s Cathedral, where they enjoyed a guided tour and learnt about its rich history. Meanwhile, Group Two remained at the Swan Valley Adventure Centre, engaging in a wide range of thought-provoking reflections, spiritual activities and meaningful conversations.

As the first day came to a close, the Year 11s participated in a quiz, including a round about themselves! They also were engaged in small activities testing their skills in balance and precision, providing a lot of laughs along the way.

A heartfelt thank you to the staff who joined us on the Retreat and generously shared their stories and experiences. Your presence and guidance added so much to this special experience for our Year 11s.
