From the Principal

It has been a privilege to recently participate in a period of CEWA System Leaders Renewal Leave, during which I was lucky enough to walk the Camino for a second time. Beginning in Porto, Portugal, and finishing in Santiago, Spain, the journey provided me with a valuable opportunity for reflection, renewal, faith formation, and personal growth.

One of the gifts of the Camino is its simplicity. Each day follows a familiar rhythm: pack the backpack, eat breakfast, walk, share a meal, rest, and begin again. Stripped of many of the distractions and demands of daily life, there is space to be fully present, to reflect and to just appreciate the beauty of the surroundings. In that simplicity, the noise of everyday life begins to fade, allowing time for gratitude, perspective, and renewal.

I know how fortunate I am to have been given this opportunity. Time away for reflection is a gift, and I return refreshed, grateful, and energised for the work ahead.

I would like to thank our Leadership Team, teachers, and support staff for their dedication and professionalism during my absence, enabling me to step away knowing the College is in such capable hands. 

With our community in mind, we look forward to Lumen Day next week, an important celebration of our faith and community. The day begins with Mass, setting the tone for a day of enjoyment and reflection as we celebrate our Catholic identity and the values that unite us as a College community.
