Academic Excellence Program

This term, our Academic Excellence students have stepped into the world of gaming and programming. They are completing Grok Academy courses to prepare for upcoming competitions, exploring topics that spark their interest while developing valuable coding skills. A win–win learning experience!

Have Sum Fun Online

Term Four sees our Year 10A Maths students competing in the Have Sum Fun Online mathematics problem-solving competition, joining students from across Australia.

The 2025 Have Sum Fun Online competition is a fantastic experience for all those involved. The students are presented with a series of challenging maths problems that push them to think creatively and collaborate in small groups. To succeed, they have to explore innovative approaches to solving complex problems. The competition also provides valuable opportunities for students to develop teamwork and communication skills as they work together to tackle each challenge.

We wish the students well as they wrap up the competition. Results will be posted in the next newsletter.
