Principal's Message

As we reach the end of term at Lakes Entrance Secondary College, it is an opportunity to reflect on the many achievements, growth, and positive moments that have shaped our school community.
Throughout the term, students have demonstrated respect, trustworthiness and a willingness to try which reflects our school values. Our staff have continued to work collaboratively to provide engaging learning experiences, building both academic skills and personal confidence in our young people.
A particular highlight has been the strengthening of relationships through positive acknowledgements from staff to students and internally from staff to staff. There has been a deliberate focus on balancing our support and challenge of students to increase the likelihood of progress in academic pursuits and positive behaviours to meet social norms. These foundations are essential for effective learning and have contributed positively to the overall tone of the school.
While there is much to celebrate, we also recognise that there is important work ahead. As we look toward next term, a key focus will be on strengthening positive classroom management practices across all learning spaces. This includes building consistent expectations, reinforcing positive behaviours, and ensuring that every classroom remains a calm, focused, and productive environment for learning.
Staff will continue to refine strategies that support student engagement, accountability, and mutual respect. By working together—students, staff, and families—we aim to create even greater consistency and clarity, ensuring that all students are set up for success.
We thank our entire school community for their continued support and look forward to another successful term ahead.
