Inclusion & Engagement

I CAN Imagination Club- for students with big imaginations!

‘The ‘I CAN Imagination Club®’ is a strengths-based program designed to support students who may benefit from extra guidance in social connection, confidence, and communication – including those with learning differences, social anxiety, or who identify as neurodivergent.

In Term 2 we are very fortunate to have Pat & Ashay join us from I CAN to facilitate group sessions with 14 of our senior children.

Mentoring sessions were based around the following themes:

· Teamwork

· Positive identity

· Communication and self-advocacy

· Emotions

· Connection

· Wellbeing and stress management

· Organisation and creative reflection

· Student-led session and Celebration

Children are supported to share their interests, hobbies and achievements through weekly I CAN Talks. This allows children to connect with one another, interact by asking questions and celebrate each person's unique identity.

Our final session will be a celebration of the term and the success of the children participating.
