Message from the Principal

Dear Parents,

Philippians 3 gives us one of Paul’s most personal reflections: a reminder that the Christian life is not built on achievements, reputation, or comparison, but on knowing Christ. Paul lists all the reasons he could boast, then sweeps them aside as “loss” compared with the surpassing worth of belonging to Jesus. It is a striking counter‑voice in a world that constantly measures us by performance, image, and success.

For our students, this is a timely word. They are surrounded by messages telling them to curate a perfect identity, to prove themselves, or to chase whatever promises quick significance. Paul invites us to a different way: to anchor our identity in Christ, to let His grace shape our confidence, and to keep moving forward—not in anxiety, but in hope.

He describes the Christian life as a race marked by perseverance: “Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal…” This is not about striving for God’s approval; it is about living from it. It is the steady, joyful pursuit of becoming more like Christ, step by step, day by day.

As a College community, this is the mindset we want to cultivate: students who know they are loved, who grow in resilience, and who set their eyes on what truly lasts. May we all—staff, parents, and students—press on together, confident that Christ has already made us His own.

Open Night – this Thursday 4:00pm – 6:30pm

This event is an opportunity to share together over an informal barbeque and enjoy the community of the College. You are welcome to explore the College campus and there will be a range of activities and displays open. This is a wonderful time to meet our staff, view classrooms, see students’ work, and experience the Christian community that makes our College special.

As part of this event, we are running tours and showcasing our school to new families considering enrolling with us. We would love for you to personally invite friends, neighbours, or other families to attend with you on the evening and consider a Christian education for their children.

Company Information Night – next Tuesday, 10 March from 7:00pm

Our College was founded on the belief that parents have a God‑given responsibility for the nurture and education of their children, and that schools are at their best when they work with parents rather than merely for them. This philosophy shapes our culture, our learning environment, and the way our community functions together.
