The Marist College Ashgrove Semester One Concert Season is now in full swing, including a variety of performances setting Term 2 off to a great start, with many more to come. In Week 2, the Autumn Concert was a great showcase of music from a range of ensembles, including some of the College’s beginner and intermediate groups, as well as the Performance Choir’s debut 2022 performance – well done to all ensembles who performed! Symphony Orchestra are also to be commended on their recent Assembly Performance, which was a great follow up to the Premier Ensembles Concert last term.

This week will see the College’s Wind Bands and Percussion Ensembles take to the stage in the Draney Theatre, with some groups performing for the first time this year at the 2022 Winds and Percussion Concert. Big Band 1 will also perform at the 2022 Big Band Youth Jazz Festival this Friday, hosted by Brisbane Jazz Club at the Brisbane Multicultural Arts Centre (BEMAC).
