ACC Athletics Carnival

On 17 September, the St Norbert College ACC Athletics team competed in the ACC B- Division Carnival. The day was full of energy and excitement as for a lot of students they had trained throughout the term for this event. Those students who did attend training had some amazing results, with some achieving personal bests.

Overall, St Norbert College finished in 8th place. Unfortunately a number of injuries and illnesses and missed events contributed to the result.

There were some great performances throughout the day lead by:

U/13 Champion Girl – Maddison Walters (Year 7)

U/15 Champion Girl – Paige Craven Bower (Year 9)

Open Girls 4th Place – Zeta Stevens (Year 11)

The competitors were fantastic with a number of students stepping up to assist the team. I look forward to a full preparation in 2021.

A big thank you goes to Lisa Hopkins, Cooper Jenkins (Class of 2019) and the PE staff for assisting in the preparation of the team.

Interhouse Athletics Carnival

Since announcing the age group winners at the carnival, I was made aware of an error in some results. After rectifying this mistake, Blaise Stancil will be the equal Year 7 Runner-Up Champion Girl. I would like to apologise to Blaise Stancil for the error.

Well Done to Blaise on this achievement.
