YEAR 8

The 2023 Year 8 Science classes in Head Start have been looking at simple machines and levers. All classes have dissected and investigated chicken wings and how it works as a lever, and how it compares to a human arm. Mr Churchill also joined in the dissection.

YEAR 11 BIOLOGY

The Year 11 Biology students for 2023 have been investigating the structure and specialisation of plant and animal cell organelles in their Headstart classes. Their chalk drawings were pretty amazing and accurate.

YEAR 9

In Headstart, the new Year 9 classes are looking at Geology in Science, and have created an edible model of a soil profile. It was both educational, and delicious.
